Emily Mendel

Emily grew up in Medina, Minnesota before moving to San Diego to obtain her BS in chemistry at the University of San Diego. At USD, Emily worked under Dr. Tim Clark developing a homologation method of ketones to aldehydes via gem-diboronates. Outside of lab, Emily enjoys reading, hiking, playing tennis, and listening to and making music.
