Founded in August 2024 alongside a fellow student, MedMinds Education was created by Suraj Swaminathan to combat the growing spread of health misinformation on social media. Recognizing how difficult it had become to distinguish credible medical information from viral claims, he has led the development of engaging, evidence-based educational content that empowers young people to make informed health decisions.

Today, Suraj continues to lead MedMinds Education while further exploring his passion for public health, medicine, and science communication, with the goal of expanding access to reliable health education for all.

Avighna Chidurala co-founded MedMinds Education with a shared commitment to making evidence-based health information more accessible. Passionate about scientific literature and critical thinking, he enjoys exploring emerging medical trends and translating complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging educational content that helps others make informed decisions.

Mr. Alan Vuong played an instrumental role in inspiring the creation of MedMinds Education, encouraging our passion for medicine, science, and health education. His early guidance and mentorship helped shape the foundation of our organization and motivated us to pursue our mission of making evidence-based health information more accessible.
