About Us
About Us
Sydney University Society of Medical Innovation (SUSMI) was founded in 2019 to give students a platform to develop and apply their skills and passion to the medical-technology industry. We are an incredibly interdisciplinary and diverse by design, with members from a wide range of academic disciplines and backgrounds.
To empower our members to make an impact, we are discovering new ways of bridging the gap between students and professionals, providing them with opportunities to collaborate, learn and innovate through networking events, workshops, and challenges such as this one.
The Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre (DHCRC) fosters innovation and facilitates the greater utilisation of data and data technologies in healthcare to improve health outcomes, increase efficiencies in health and aged care delivery, and support the growth of a competitive Australian digital health technology industry. They are interested in projects that lead to sustainable impacts on health outcomes and contributions to the digital economy.
DHCRC are funded through the Commonwealth Department of Industry, Science and Resources’ Cooperative Research Centres Program, and are supported by more than 60 participant organisations across the university, healthcare and technology industries.
