## About MediSync
MediSync is a healthcare collaboration platform developed by **Rovento Dev**. It provides professional communication, patient workflow, hospital, clinic, unit, family update, drug reference, calculator, notification, AI-assisted, and administrative tools.
**Important medical safety notice:** MediSync is not a medical device, not a certified electronic health record, and not a substitute for professional clinical judgment. Nothing in MediSync is medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing guidance, emergency guidance, or a guarantee of clinical accuracy.
By creating an account, accessing MediSync, or using any MediSync feature, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and the MediSync Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use MediSync.

## 1. Who May Use MediSync
MediSync is intended for:
- Licensed or authorized healthcare professionals
- Healthcare staff working under an authorized healthcare institution
- Hospital, clinic, unit, and workspace administrators
- Authorized adult family members or caregivers using the Family Portal
- Platform administrators and support staff
By using MediSync, you confirm that:
- The information you provide is accurate, current, and not misleading
- You are legally permitted to use MediSync for your role and jurisdiction
- You are at least 18 years old if you create a professional or family account
- You will follow applicable healthcare, privacy, professional, institutional, and data-protection rules
- You will not use MediSync where your institution, law, regulator, or professional body prohibits it
Accounts with false identity, false professional status, misleading credentials, or abusive behavior may be suspended or terminated.

## 2. Not a Medical Device, EHR, or Clinical Decision-Making Tool
MediSync is a workflow, communication, reference, and collaboration platform. It is not a medical device, not a certified EHR, not a clinical decision support system, and not an emergency service.
You agree that:
- You remain solely responsible for clinical decisions and patient care
- You will verify all information before relying on it
- You will follow your institution's approved systems, policies, and protocols
- You will not use MediSync as the sole basis for diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, triage, discharge, escalation, or emergency decisions
- You will not rely on alerts, notifications, AI output, calculators, drug summaries, or family updates as complete or authoritative clinical records
If there is any discrepancy between MediSync and an official medical record, institutional system, approved protocol, official drug label, or clinician assessment, the authoritative source controls.

## 3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- Using only your own account
- Logging out of shared or insecure devices
- Maintaining accurate profile, role, and contact information
- Protecting patient, staff, family, and institutional data
- Immediately reporting suspected unauthorized access to **roventodev@gmail.com**
- Ensuring that your use of MediSync is authorized by your institution where required
You may not share accounts, sell access, bypass access controls, impersonate another person, or allow unauthorized users to access MediSync through your account.

## 4. Patient Data and Institutional Responsibilities
If you enter, view, edit, export, share, or manage patient information in MediSync, you agree that:
- You have the required authority, consent, and legal basis to process that information
- You will enter only information that is necessary and appropriate for the workflow
- You will follow your institution's privacy, security, consent, medical-record, and retention policies
- You will not access patient records outside your authorized role, facility, unit, workspace, or family relationship
- You will not export, copy, screenshot, or share patient information except as legally and institutionally permitted
- You will use retention, archive, and deletion tools responsibly
MediSync provides technical controls, but your institution and care team remain responsible for deciding whether MediSync is approved for a given patient workflow.

## 5. Public, Community, Chat, and Case Content
You must not post patient-identifiable information in public or community areas, including global chat, cases, comments, public discussions, shared AI sessions, or other open areas.
When posting educational cases or professional content, you must:
- Remove names, MRNs, exact birth dates, national IDs, phone numbers, addresses, photos, QR codes, and other identifiers
- Avoid combinations of details that could reasonably identify a patient
- Use respectful and professional language
- Avoid harassment, hate, threats, spam, misinformation, commercial promotion, or unlawful content
- Report unsafe, abusive, or privacy-violating content
We may remove content, restrict sharing, reject shared AI sessions, or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

## 6. AI Assistant, Voice, and Automation Terms
MediSync AI features are productivity aids only. They may use server-side routing and upstream providers such as GitHub Models/Azure, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, MiniCPM/ModelBest, Groq, or self-hosted Zicus MiniCPM depending on availability and configuration.
You agree that:
- AI output may be wrong, incomplete, biased, outdated, unsafe, or unsuitable for a specific patient
- You must review, correct, and verify AI output before using, saving, sending, or sharing it
- You will not use AI output as a substitute for clinical judgment or authoritative sources
- You will not include patient identifiers in AI prompts or shared AI sessions unless the feature is being used within an authorized clinical workflow and your institution permits that use
- Voice transcription and autofill may mishear, omit, or alter content; you must review all generated fields before saving
- Shared AI sessions may be reviewed by admins before approval and may be rejected or removed
- If you provide your own API key for a supported AI feature, you are responsible for that key and for the provider terms that apply to your account
MediSync does not guarantee uninterrupted AI availability, provider availability, accuracy, or quota.

## 7. Drug Library, Calculators, and Reference Content
Drug, calculator, and reference features are for professional reference and education only.
- Drug information may come from public or third-party sources such as RxNorm, DailyMed, openFDA, DDInter, or AI-assisted extraction and review workflows
- Data may be incomplete, outdated, in review, or jurisdiction-specific
- Calculator formulas and outputs must be checked against original publications, local policy, and clinician judgment
- Reference content is not prescribing advice and does not replace official labeling, pharmacists, institutional formularies, or clinical guidelines
You are responsible for verifying all reference content before using it in clinical practice.

## 8. Notifications and Alerts
MediSync may send notifications for messages, mentions, patient workflow events, family updates, admin actions, retention warnings, subscriptions, security, or support.
Notifications can be delayed, duplicated, blocked, unavailable, or delivered without full context. Do not rely on notifications as the only method for urgent clinical communication, emergency escalation, or time-critical patient care.

## 9. Family Portal Terms
The Family Portal is intended to provide authorized relatives or caregivers with approved, family-safe updates.
Family users agree that:
- Family updates are limited and may not represent the complete medical record
- Family updates are not medical advice or emergency instructions
- Access may be removed if the patient is discharged, access expires, the code is revoked, or the institution changes permissions
- Family messages and updates must remain respectful, lawful, and relevant to care coordination
- Urgent medical concerns should be directed to the care team or emergency services, not only through MediSync

## 10. Subscription, Trial, Billing, and Portal Access
### 10.1 Medical Portal
- New and existing accounts may receive a **6-month free Medical portal trial** unless changed by admin policy.
- After the free trial ends, continued Medical portal access may require an active paid subscription or an admin-granted exception.
- Mobile subscription entitlement is managed through app-store purchases and RevenueCat where configured.
- Web subscription checkout is processed through Paymob in EGP where configured.
- A paid Medical portal subscription does not automatically create or pay for a Hospital portal tenant.
### 10.2 Family Portal
- MediSync Family is free for authorized patient relatives or caregivers using a valid Family Access Code or approved access flow.
- Family access is limited to approved patient updates and family-safe communication features.
### 10.3 Hospital Portal
- Hospital portal setup, ownership transfer, and payment are managed externally by the MediSync owner or support team unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Hospital owners may add authorized users according to the app's role and access controls.
- Hospital membership does not automatically grant paid Medical portal access after the Medical trial ends.
### 10.4 Refunds, Cancellations, and Restores
- Mobile refunds and cancellations may be controlled by Google Play, the App Store, RevenueCat, or the applicable store rules.
- Web Paymob refund requests should be sent to **roventodev@gmail.com** within 14 days of the charge for review.
- We may approve or deny refunds based on payment provider status, usage, duplicate charge evidence, fraud concerns, and applicable law.
- Restoring purchases may require the same app-store account used for the original purchase.
Prices, plans, trial rules, and portal rules may change. Material changes will be communicated where required.

## 11. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Use MediSync for unlawful, unsafe, abusive, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes
- Enter fabricated, misleading, or malicious patient data
- Access, attempt to access, or disclose data outside your authorization
- Share patient identifiers in public or community areas
- Use MediSync to harass, threaten, discriminate, defame, spam, or impersonate
- Upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, or disrupt infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, scrape, automate abuse, bypass paywalls, bypass security controls, or tamper with the app
- Share secrets, API keys, access tokens, or credentials
- Use MediSync to train, evaluate, or build competing AI or software systems without written permission
- Violate healthcare privacy laws, professional rules, institutional policies, app-store policies, or third-party terms
We may investigate violations and take action including content removal, access restriction, account suspension, tenant restriction, or legal reporting.

## 12. Intellectual Property and User Content
MediSync, including its design, code, branding, workflows, interfaces, and proprietary features, is owned by Rovento Dev or its licensors.
You retain ownership of content you create, subject to the rights needed for MediSync to operate. By submitting content, you grant Rovento Dev a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display, process, transmit, moderate, and back up that content as needed to provide MediSync and enforce these Terms.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content to MediSync.
Third-party reference sources, drug data, SDKs, AI providers, app stores, and payment providers may have their own licenses and terms.

## 13. Account Deletion and Data Removal
You may request or initiate account deletion through the app where available or by contacting **roventodev@gmail.com**.
Important deletion rules:
- Account deletion is intended to permanently remove your personal account where technically and legally possible.
- Hospital owners must transfer hospital ownership before deleting their personal account.
- Some data may remain where required for legal, audit, accounting, security, dispute, medical-record, backup, or institutional obligations.
- Content shared with other users, approved shared AI sessions, audit logs, payment records, or patient records controlled by an institution may not be fully removed simply because your personal account is deleted.
- Mobile subscriptions may remain associated with your app-store account after MediSync account deletion; manage cancellation through the relevant store.
If you cannot access the in-app deletion flow, email **roventodev@gmail.com** with the subject **MediSync Account Deletion Request**.

## 14. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if:
- You violate these Terms or the Privacy Policy
- You provide false information or misuse professional credentials
- You misuse patient data, family access, AI features, billing, or admin tools
- You create security, privacy, legal, operational, or patient-safety risk
- Required payment, trial, entitlement, or access conditions are not met
- We are required to act by law, institution request, payment provider, app store, or regulator
We may also remove or restrict content that creates privacy, safety, legal, moderation, or quality concerns.

## 15. Service Availability and Changes
MediSync may change, pause, remove, or add features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, realtime delivery, AI provider availability, notification delivery, payment provider availability, or compatibility with every device, browser, institution, or workflow.
We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, enforce minimum supported versions, or block outdated versions for security or compatibility reasons.

## 16. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MediSync is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, clinical accuracy, medical suitability, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.
You use MediSync at your own risk and professional responsibility.

## 17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rovento Dev and MediSync will not be liable for:
- Clinical decisions, patient outcomes, diagnoses, treatment choices, prescribing decisions, or emergency decisions
- AI errors, transcription errors, reference-data errors, calculator errors, notification delays, or missed alerts
- Unauthorized access caused by user credential compromise or failure to secure devices
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, goodwill, business, reputation, or opportunity
- Events outside our reasonable control, including provider outages, app-store issues, payment-provider issues, hosting issues, internet outages, or force majeure events
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid directly to MediSync for the affected service during the 12 months before the claim, unless a higher limit is required by law.

## 18. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rovento Dev and MediSync from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- Your misuse of MediSync
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of privacy, healthcare, professional, institutional, or data-protection obligations
- Content or patient data you submit without proper authorization
- Clinical decisions or patient-care actions taken by you or your institution

## 19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where Rovento Dev operates, unless mandatory consumer or data-protection law provides otherwise.
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at **roventodev@gmail.com** and attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to mediation, arbitration, or competent courts as applicable.
