About Us
The Medina Chapter was organized in 1951 by a group of individuals interested in conservation and preservation, and currently our roster lists over one hundred members. All of our chapter activities are held on our 73 acre farm.
We have large woods and many groves of trees. Over the years our members have planted over 33,000 trees, and in 1976 the Ohio State Department of Forestry declared our property as Forest Lands. We practice good conservation policies in the management of our land.There are two lakes on the grounds, one in the picnic pavilion area; and the other, a wetlands lake near the clubhouse. This lake is designed so as to have a marsh area where we plant various types of grains. Suitable for wildfowl. In the year 2000 we also planted a butterfly garden.
