MediMind is a medication reminder application. It helps users manage daily medicine schedules through time-based alerts and Google Calendar integration. The App is for reminder purposes only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
2. Information We Collect
a) Google Account Information
When you sign in with Google to enable calendar reminders, we access:
Your Google account email address
Basic profile information (name, profile photo)
Google Calendar access (to create and manage reminders)
This information is not stored on our servers. It is used only to create calendar reminder events on your device.
b) Health & Medicine Data
All medicine names, schedules, and reminder data you enter are stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, or store any health or medical data on external servers.
c) Crash & Diagnostic Data
The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous diagnostic information, including:
Device type and operating system version
App crash logs and error reports
This data is fully anonymous and used only to improve app stability. It does not identify you personally.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected solely for the following purposes:
To create and manage medication reminders in your Google Calendar
To provide and improve core app functionality
To diagnose and fix app crashes and bugs
To process in-app purchases via Google Play Billing
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
Google Sign-In — for account authentication
Google Calendar API — for reminder creation
Firebase Crashlytics — for anonymous crash reporting
Google Play Billing — for in-app purchase processing
5. In-App Purchases
MediMind offers optional in-app purchases to unlock premium features. All payment processing is handled securely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store any payment or financial information.
6. Your Data Rights & Deletion
You have full control over your data:
All medicine and reminder data is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.
Google Calendar reminders created by the app can be deleted directly from Google Calendar.

7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Since all health and medicine data is stored locally on your device, you maintain full control over it at all times. No sensitive health data is transmitted to our servers.

MediMind is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable laws. When we make significant changes, we will notify users through an app update or update notice. The updated policy will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
