Prescription and Health Information
Prescription images and health-related information are sensitive. MediLocal processes this information only as needed to identify requested medicines, obtain user confirmation, support pharmacist or clinician review, fulfil an order or booking, provide customer support, maintain required records, prevent fraud, and comply with law. OCR or AI output may contain errors and must not be treated as a diagnosis or medical advice.
Prescription medicines are supplied only subject to a valid prescription and pharmacist review where required. MediLocal does not replace a doctor, pharmacist, laboratory, ambulance operator, or emergency service.
Doctor, Lab, Home-Test, and Ambulance Requests
When a user requests a doctor consultation, laboratory test, home sample collection, or ambulance, MediLocal may share the minimum necessary contact, location, booking, and health-related details with the selected or assigned provider. Providers are independently responsible for professional services, availability, clinical decisions, and regulatory compliance.
MediLocal is not an emergency-response service. For a medical emergency in India, call 112 or the appropriate local emergency service immediately. Do not rely on the app for time-critical emergency care.
Vaccines, Insulin, and Cold-Chain Products
Availability of vaccines, insulin, and other temperature-sensitive products is reported by pharmacy sellers. Stock, prescription requirements, storage conditions, and cold-chain capability must be confirmed by the fulfilling seller before supply. MediLocal does not guarantee stock or temperature compliance until the seller confirms the order.
Location Data
With permission, MediLocal may use location to show nearby providers, apply service-radius rules, estimate distance or delivery availability, suggest addresses, calculate charges, and route booking requests. Users can disable location permission in device settings and enter an address manually where supported.
Seller and Provider Verification
MediLocal may collect GSTIN, PAN, drug licence, chemist licence, business address, bank details, cancelled cheque, identity details, and related documents for onboarding, verification, compliance, fraud prevention, settlements, and periodic review. Automated extraction may assist review, but approval may require manual or authorised third-party verification.

We may share information with:
Pharmacies and delivery partners fulfilling orders
Doctors, laboratories, home-test providers, and ambulance partners handling bookings
Payment, payout, settlement, communication, cloud hosting, storage, analytics, mapping, OCR, AI, and customer-support providers

Government authorities, regulators, law-enforcement agencies, or courts where legally required
We do not sell personal information.
Data Retention and Prescription Handling
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, legal compliance, medical or prescription review, transaction records, disputes, fraud prevention, seller verification, and operational requirements. Temporary prescription-processing copies should be deleted when no longer required, except where retention is required by law, safety, dispute, or audit obligations.
Security
MediLocal uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards, including encrypted network transport and access controls. No digital platform can guarantee absolute security.
User Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, users may request access, correction, export, or deletion of eligible personal information. Users may revoke device permissions through Android settings. Account or data-deletion requests can be sent to the contact below. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate safety, fraud, transaction, or dispute purposes.
Children
MediLocal is not intended for unsupervised use by children for regulated medical ordering, prescriptions, consultations, tests, ambulance requests, or payments. A parent or legal guardian should supervise use where applicable.
