DIGITAL X-RAY
An X-ray report is a digital image of the internal composition of
something, especially a part of the body, produced by X-rays being passed through it and being absorbed to different degrees by different materials.
X-ray tests done for all body parts including spine, shoulder blades, chest, hand, leg, soft tissue and more.
ULTRASONOGRAPHY ( USG)
It is used to see internal body structures such as tendons, muscles,
joints, vessels and internal organs.
STREES TEST ( TMT )
In a Stress Test exercise, a patient walks on a treadmill and his /her
heart rhythm, blood pressure and breathing are monitored. It helps
to detects coronary artery disease or irregular heart rhythm.
Patients should have light
food at least 4 hours prior to the test. If the patient is undergoing
any medication that should be told to doctor as it can change the
result of the test. A relative should accompany him/her. Doctor’s
prescription and ECG is mandatory. Patients must bring all previous
diagnostic or operative reports & film.
PFT
Pulmonary function tests (PFT) are conducted to assess the strength and functional efficiency of lungs along with the nature of air circulated in the respiratory system.
CARDIOLOGY
ELECTROCARDIOGRAM ( E.C.G)
E.C.G is a test which detects the problem with the electrical activity of the heart.
ECHOCARDIOGRAM
The use of ultrasound radiation to generate
images of the heart is known ad Echo
Cardiogram.
HOLTER MONITORING
A holter monitoring is a continuous tape recording of a patient’s ECG. Holter monitor is a small, wearable device that can detect irregularities in your heart rhythm. For male patients chest hair must be shaved up to navel. All patients must bring their original voter id and previous diagnostic or operative reports.
NUROLOGY
E.E.G
An electroencephalogram (EEG) is a test used to find problems related to electrical activity of the brain. The patient is required to shampoo his/her hair and rinse well before visiting the centre.
E.M.G
Electromyography (EMG) is a diagnostic procedure to assess the
health of and the nerve cells that control them (motor neurons).
N.C.V
Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) study, uses electrodes taped to
the skin surface electrodes) to measure the speed and strength of
signals traveling between two or more points.
