Introduction
Introducing myself, I'm Namit Jain from group 6, presenting a part of our report on how robotics revolutionize clinic control and patient care. We discover the advantages of robotics, from streamlining hospital tasks to improving patient outcomes and reviews.
About the topic
Robots have become essential in healthcare, revolutionizing the manner affected person care is delivered. Here are a few examples of the way robotics is enhancing patient care, these will be further explained in the final report:
1) In medication management – Proven Robotics (2023), the use of robots minimizes all the errors in medicine administration and ensures precision and patient safety.
2) Rehabilitation and Telepresence Robots – Rehabilitation robots are effective for those with physical disorders mainly spine injuries. Tatsiana, T. (2022). On the other hand, telepresence robots enable remote patient monitoring and consultations, where communications are finished through mics, a digital camera, and speakers included inside the robotic. Tatsiana, T. (2022).
3) Aged Care and emotional care – Healthcare Base (2023). In elderly care, robots are assisting senior patients in their daily tasks, like giving medicine etc. Social robots in aged care are robotic devices that offer emotional support in addition to companionship to the elderly. Improvements can be done developing AI robots that can analyze and adapt to specific patient possibilities in addition to changing care requirements.
Moving to the next part of my report which is hospital management. A few examples of the way robotics are enhancing are:
1) Cleaning and transportation – ICE Cobotics (2023), “Cleaning robots offer numerous benefits such as improved efficiency, enhanced infection control, and increased patient safety.” Sanitizing clinic rooms and system is made convenient via UV-C disinfection robots like the “Xenex” or “Tru-D” which generate ultraviolet mild that kills germs and viruses. Transporting any goods can be done by robots, eliminating all human labour. Alfredo (n.d)
2) Inventory– Intel (2022), Robots possess the capability to top off the stock and manipulate other administrative tasks and records. Documentation and logistics can be easily handled by these robots.
Conclusion
First, robots could completely revolutionize how patients’ needs are met, clinical management systems and healthcare delivery. Secondly, by addressing today’s challenges and capitalizing on advancements in technology, we can pave the way for a future where health care is profoundly reengineered through the use of robots. We can grow them and overcome more obstacles with blockchain technology and artificial intelligence.
Learnings from the topic
Writing about those problems became informative and challenging. The enormous opportunities for robotics in healthcare research are exciting, but considering complex concepts and navigating all technical challenges required careful research and elemental focus and more methods one integration and dealing with possible limitations posed major obstacles. But the opportunity to help put word of mouth on such an important topic turned out to be exceptionally exciting, highlighting the importance of generations to improve healthcare sector and improve patient outcomes plant.
