Medicaid provides health coverage and services to children, seniors, people with disabilities, families and working adults across Kentucky.

For Kentuckians in many different circumstances, Medicaid means being able to see a doctor, get needed treatment, care for a loved one or live independently.

Beginning in 2027, many adults covered through Medicaid expansion will face new work or other qualifying activity requirements, more frequent eligibility checks and additional paperwork.

At each Medicaid Reality Check, a health policy expert will give a brief overview of what’s ahead and what changes mean for Kentuckians.

Attend one of our listening sessions and share how Medicaid helps you or someone you care about see a doctor, get treatment, receive needed services, care for a loved one or live independently.
