Overview
NoteZen is a plain-text note-taking application designed to run entirely on your device. We built it with a simple privacy principle: your notes are yours, and they never leave your device.
Information We Collect
We collect no information whatsoever.
NoteZen does not:
Collect any personal data
Request any device permissions (no camera, microphone, location, contacts, or SMS access)
Connect to the internet
Use analytics or crash reporting services
Display advertisements
Use any third-party SDKs that collect data
Sync data to any cloud service
Create or require user accounts
Data Storage
All notes, tags, and settings you create in NoteZen are stored exclusively in a local SQLite database on your Android device. This data:
Never leaves your device
Is not shared with any third party
Is not accessible to us or anyone else
Is removed when you uninstall the application
Children's Privacy
NoteZen does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including users under 13. Since no data is collected at all, there is no special treatment required.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Any future version that introduces data collection will clearly disclose it in the updated policy and in the Play Store listing before the update is released.
