Media VAR respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Media VAR accesses, uses, stores, and protects information on your device.
Information Media VAR Accesses
With your permission, Media VAR may access notifications, notification content, images, audio, video, documents, stickers, and other supported media needed to provide its core features. Media VAR uses this information only to display, organize, preserve, and present supported content inside the app.
How Your Data Is Used
Media VAR uses accessed data only to provide the app’s features, including displaying captured notifications and supported media, organizing content, and preserving supported content for later review. Media VAR does not sell your personal data.
Data Storage
Captured messages, images, audio, video, documents, stickers, and other supported media are stored locally on your device. Media VAR does not upload captured content to our servers. Your data remains under your control and can be deleted from within the app, by clearing the app’s data, or by uninstalling Media VAR.
Notification Access
Media VAR requires Notification Access to provide its core functionality. This access allows Media VAR to detect and save supported notification content so you can review content you may have missed. Notification Access is enabled only after you grant permission through your device settings.
Media Access
If you enable media capture, Media VAR may access supported images, audio, video, documents, stickers, and other media files on your device when needed to provide its media-related features. Media VAR does not access your media for advertising or unrelated purposes.
Data Sharing
Media VAR does not sell your personal data. Media VAR does not share captured messages, images, audio, video, documents, stickers, or other media with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Subscriptions and Payments
Media VAR may offer paid subscriptions through Google Play. Subscription purchases, free trials, renewals, cancellations, and payment processing are handled by Google Play under Google’s applicable terms and policies. Media VAR does not directly collect or store your payment card information.
Data Retention and Deletion
Media VAR stores captured content locally on your device. By default, messages and captured content older than 7 days may be automatically removed, except items that you mark as Important. You can also delete supported content from within the app. Clearing Media VAR’s app data or uninstalling the app removes locally stored app data from the device, subject to Android system behavior.
Children’s Privacy
Media VAR is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so appropriate action can be taken.
Security
Media VAR uses reasonable technical measures to help protect locally stored app data. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and users are responsible for maintaining the security of their device and device account.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Media VAR, legal requirements, or our privacy practices. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
