The media play a key role in building a healthy democracy. They are the backbone of democracy. Democracy is based on freedom of speech, so denying citizens access to information is a violation of human rights.

Media and Democracy is a cooperation of Secondary Vocational School of Business and Trade in Prostějov, Czech Republic and Thora Storm vgs (Norway) funded by EEA grants. In this project, we examine the role of the media in these two countries and how they affect us.
