Medi-Station Urgent Care Center provides treatment for the non-life threatening illnesses and injuries that occur on a day-to-day basis. We are equipped to serve the entire family, including children, and can handle a variety of conditions ranging from colds and fevers to lacerations and fractures. Our office is open to serve the community 7 days a week with extended evening hours beyond those of a private Doctor's office. Appointments are not necessary.

Ear, Nose & Throat Infections

Earaches are an intense pain that sometimes radiates to the neck and shoulder. It can be caused by fluid in the middle ear, allergy, upper respiratory infection such as a cold or sinusitis, trauma from eardrum rupture due to nose blowing for example. If your child is younger than three years old it could also be signs of chronic otitis media (middle ear infections) which should get checked out by their doctor if they have consistent symptoms more often than once every six months or so. The following medicines may help relieve some pressure: ibuprofen acetaminophen combination (Tylenol), montelukast sodium tablets (Singulair). A fever combined with earache might indicate a bacterial infection but this should be checked by your doctor.

Medi-Station continues to be open but we are still limiting our office hours. We will continue to see patients via tele-medicine visits and are providing Covid -19 testing in office and for employers.
