Invited Speakers

Max Welling

is a research chair in Machine Learning at the University of Amsterdam. He has secondary appointments at the University of California Irvine and at the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR). He is co-founder of Scyfer BV a university spin-off in deep learning.

Tal Arbel

is Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and member of the McGill Centre for Intelligent Machines. She is also Research Director of the Probabilistic Vision Group, and Electrical & Computer Engineering "Medical Imaging Lab" and Associate Member of MILA.

Olaf Ronneberger

is Senior Research Scientist at DeepMind Health since 2016. He still holds an adjunct professorship for Computer Science at the University of Freiburg in Germany. He’s one of the pioneers of bringing modern deep learning approaches to biomedical image analysis, with over 15 years' work in the field.

Holger Roth

is Senior Research Scientist at NVIDIA's deep learning for medical imaging research group based in Bethesda, Maryland. He focuses on the application of deep learning methods for large-scale medical image analysis, multi-scale computational anatomy, and computer-aided detection and diagnosis.
