The workshop, now in its third edition, brings together Italian researchers in Mechanical Sciences engaged in theoretical and computational analyses, mathematical physical modeling, and experimental characterization of heterogeneous materials, soft matter and biological structures. Its purpose is to consolidate relationships among research groups, foster new synergies, and strengthen a multidisciplinary network of scientific collaborations to address the most significant challenges in continuum mechanics and dynamics applied to advanced materials and mechanobiological systems at any scale. These topics are the focus of thirteen Projects of Relevant National Interest (PRIN 2022 and PRIN 2022 PNRR), funded by the Italian Ministry of Research and engaging over one hundred scholars, comprising early-career researchers, young and senior professors and group leaders. In particular, the event centers on presenting the final results of these research activities, exploring application prospects, and planning future directions to reinforce Italy’s leadership position at the international level.
Participation in the conference is open and free of charge, however, we kindly request registration at the following link
