This is my 12th year teaching, with all 12 of those years here at Manor ISD. I was teaching mostly 10th grade English at MHS for a number of years until MECHS began. At that point, I was split for 9th and 10th grade ELA for a number of years. This year, I am excited to take over as the adjunct professor through ACC teaching ENGL 2322 and 2323! Not only will I teach the ACC English classes, I will also be teaching ELA 4.
I grew up in Michigan and attended Michigan State University for my bachelor's degree. I graduated in 2010 with a BA in history and secondary education. Beginning fall 2010 I student taught in a 10th grade US History class at Stockbridge High School. When I couldn't find a job right away, I went back to MSU and earned an additional BA in English. I earned my MA degree through Texas Tech University and will be starting law school at Ohio Northern Univeristy in August 2024. Needless to say, I enjoy being a student and learning as much as I can.
In my free time, I like to read (of course!), play with my kittens Ron and Ginny, decorative plan, and be auntie to the best niece ever, Anne.
These are all of the book I've read recently. As you will see, I enjoy a wide variety of books & novels.
