Items that are NOT accepted: Anything with Freon (AC, Dehumidifiers); Kitchen or Bath Room Items (electric razors, toothbrushes, Microwaves, Toasters etc.); Appliances; Adhesives, Paints or Chemicals of any kind; Aerosol Cans; Batteries; Audio and Video Cassettes, CD, DVD’s; Carbon Monoxide/Smoke Detectors; Gas Powered Items; Ammunition; Pre-lit Christmas Trees; Vacuum and Floor Cleaners; Anything Medical; General Rubbish

Contacting the Buffalo-Mechanicsburg Police Department

Call 911 for emergencies and to report concerns. Information will be routed to the on-duty officer. If no officer is on duty, the Sangamon County Sheriff will respond. This documents the issue for the local police department.
