About me
Welcome to my academic space! I am Dr. Sameer Yashwant Bhosale, an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at PES’s Modern College of Engineering, Pune. With over two decades of teaching and research experience, I am deeply committed to advancing knowledge in the field of Mechanical Engineering, particularly in Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, and Thermal Systems.
I hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, with my research focusing on Numerical and Experimental Investigation of Heat Transfer Performance using Various Shapes of Non-Conventional Ribs. Additionally, I have a Master’s degree in Heat Power Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Throughout my career, I have guided numerous postgraduate research projects, contributed to national and international research publications, and actively participated in academic accreditation processes such as NAAC and NBA. My work extends beyond teaching, as I serve as a recognized Ph.D. guide and mentor for aspiring researchers.
As a passionate educator, I strive to blend theoretical concepts with practical applications, preparing students for industry challenges and research excellence. My mission is to inspire the next generation of engineers by fostering innovation, critical thinking, and technical expertise.
