Introduction:
In its mission of raising awareness and fostering a range of digital skills in Malta, MECB Ltd will be delivering an informative, four month part-time course on the digital revolution effecting businesses known as the 4th Industrial Revolution explicitly aimed at business leaders, managers and strategic decision makers.
Why Attend?
Industry 4.0 is increasingly becoming a reality - ever more devices are designed to be networkable and compatible with various processes that form of the value chain in a range of business sectors. The COVID pandemic has demonstrated that digitisation is a necessary enabler to business sustainability. But is Industry 4.0 equally relevant to all organisations? Should one invest blindly in Industry 4.0? This course is thus intended to help familiarise managers and executives coming from different business sectors, with the concepts, benefits and challenges of Industry 4.0, complete with an outline of typical applications of a range of technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality(VR), AI, IOT, Robotics and 3D Printing.

As today's individuals busy schedules, the course is purposely spread over 4 months held once a week on Thursdays between 16.30 and 18.30 between 7th April and 21st July 2022.
Cost ?
As the course is sponsored by eSkills Malta Foundation, the cost to participants is nil. The entire sessions are free to registered participants.
Registration?
Registration for this course is free but on a first come first served basis up to a maximum of 15 participants. Individuals interested in attending this interactive training course should register online by following this link by latest 25th March 2022. Organisations can register up to a maximum of 3 staff members.
The sessions will be delivered by Dr Ing Jonathan C. BORG who has several years experience in training on advanced digital technologies. He is also one of the approved Business Process Re-Engineering Service Providers appointed by Malta Enterprise. Jonathan has a Bachelors degree in engineering from the University of Malta, and an MSc and PhD from the University of Strathclyde UK. Jonathan is annually appointed by the European Research Council to evaluate multi-million Euro research proejcts on emerging technologies. The organisation he leads, MECB has over 10 yars experience in the transfer of knowledge related to Industry 4.0 in a range of sectors including Manufacturing, Health, Construction and Agriculture.
Course Material?
MECB will provide the registered participants that attend all sessions with access to related and more detailed e-Learning content available on its e-Learning Management System, content which they can continue to refer to even after the end of this course.
Certificate?
Participants attending at least 90% of the sessions will be issued with a 'Certificate of Attendance'.
