OUR STORY

MeatWagon Inc. was born in 2020, amidst the chaos of the COVID pandemic.  Having both celebrated our 50th birthdays, and grateful for decades of hunting successes together, we dedicated our "golden" year to one of helping others.  We committed to donating our harvested deer to Pennsylvania's Hunters Sharing the Harvest, or "HSH", program.   Inspired by the numerous drives to our favorite donation site, Kip's Deer Processing, we jokingly nicknamed our effort "Operation MeatWagon."  (You can enjoy the retrospective video on this page.)

We were blown away by the public interest in what we were doing.  Our social accounts blew up with "likes", we received commendation letters from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and an avalanche of property owners lined up for help in managing deer.  In January 2023, we officially incorporated as MeatWagon Inc. to allow us to fully pursue our mission--Conserve. Control. Contribute.

Today, we have numerous properties under management, donated thousands of meals to food banks, and played a meaningful role in balancing the whitetail deer population.  We are grateful for the opportunity to do something we love while also helping others.  Join us!
