Dear visitors,
The Meat Corporation is honored to have been able to generate, within the framework of SAGO FISUR Virtual, our seminar, Meat Days 2021. As always, our goal is to create a fraternal meeting space for the livestock production and commercial chain. In this context, the topics addressed have the objective of sharing the experiences involved with a technological or market progress, exchanging useful information. Be firmly believed, that good information is the best way to make best decissions.
This year, we held two work sessions related to livestock sustainability:
• 8 July: Productive Sustainability: We focused this day on the concepts and paths for sustainable production, export, and the link between beef cattle and dairy production systems. It is our deep interest to recognize the progress generated during the pandemic period, especially in the field of dairy males, not only in applied research, but also in genetics, as well as in business and integration models, leading from the public and private sectors.
• July 13: Environmental and economic sustainability: The presentations focused on the challenges and successful experiences with positive externalities for livestock in the environmental context. In the same way, we had the chance to interact with international special guests, who enriched and contextualized current situations of sustainability status and challenges.
We would like to express our gratitude to each of our speakers, who generously shared their knowledge. Also, a special mention to all organizations that trusted our Corporation and made this activity possible: MINAGRI, PROCHILE, SAG, Regional Governments of Los Ríos and Los Lagos, FAENACAR, AFECH, Consorcio Lechero, INIA, UACh, Feria de Osorno, Agrícola y Comercial Lircay, ABS, Quality Meat Scotland, and experts from Uruguay and Argentina.
And of course, to the thousands of visitors to the platform, who made this activity a complete success.
