These Terms govern your use of Mealvia: AI Cooking Assistant, provided by Kalestial Teknoloji Limited Şirketi (“Kalestial,” “we,” “us”). By using Mealvia, you agree to these Terms, subject to any acceptance requirements under applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility and the service
You must be at least 13 and meet any higher applicable minimum age. If you cannot legally enter into these Terms on your own, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use and any purchases. Mealvia offers ingredient entry, AI-assisted recipe discovery, photo-based ingredient recognition, cooking assistance, timers and a local record of cooked meals. Certain features require an active Mealvia Pro subscription and internet access.
2. AI suggestions and cooking safety
AI-generated recipes, ingredient identifications, answers and images may be inaccurate, incomplete or inconsistent. Generated food photos are illustrations, not a guarantee of the dish’s appearance or contents. Review recognized ingredients, quantities, cooking instructions and exclusions before relying on them.
Mealvia cannot verify freshness, hidden ingredients, cross-contact, allergen absence or the safety of a food from a photo. Check packaging and ingredients yourself. Use appropriate food-handling practices and verify that food is safely cooked. Timer alerts can be affected by device settings, power and operating-system behavior; supervise cooking yourself.
Mealvia provides general cooking assistance, not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or individualized clinical nutrition advice. Consult a qualified professional for medical or serious dietary concerns. These statements do not remove rights or duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
3. Mealvia Pro subscriptions
Mealvia Pro offers weekly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions. The purchase screen and Apple confirmation sheet display the applicable billing period, local price, currency and any offer conditions before purchase. Prices vary by country or region; the confirmed store price applies.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge for renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation normally stops future renewal; access continues until the current paid period expires, subject to refunds or other applicable adjustments.
• Deleting Mealvia or requesting deletion of app data does not cancel your Apple subscription.
• If a trial or introductory offer is available, its duration, eligibility and subsequent price are shown before purchase. No trial is promised unless expressly displayed.
• Use Restore Purchases with the appropriate Apple Account to restore eligible purchases. Restoration of subscription access does not guarantee recovery of device-only cooking history.
• Apple processes refund requests under its rules and applicable law. You may request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com (https://reportaproblem.apple.com/). Nothing here limits mandatory refund or consumer rights.
Pro includes the features identified in the current offer. Where AI use is described as unlimited, there is no advertised daily or monthly recipe allowance, but reasonable technical limits and controls against automated misuse, fraud or service disruption may apply. Unlimited does not guarantee uninterrupted access, instantaneous results or permission to resell the service. Changes to prices or subscription terms will follow applicable notice and consent requirements.
4. Your content and permitted use
You retain any rights you hold in photos, questions and other material you submit. You authorize us and our service providers to process that material as necessary to provide, secure and support Mealvia, as described in our Privacy Policy, available on the same website as these Terms. This permission does not authorize unrelated advertising use.
Submit only material you are entitled to use. Do not upload unlawful content, third-party private information without authority, or content intended to compromise systems. Do not bypass subscription checks, extract credentials, impersonate others, overload the service or use automated access without permission. This does not prohibit activities that applicable law expressly permits.
You may use generated recipes and cooking suggestions for lawful purposes. AI output may resemble other output or third-party material; we do not guarantee originality, exclusivity or intellectual-property protection. Mealvia’s software, branding and original interface remain protected by their respective owners’ rights.
5. Privacy and device storage
Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing, including AI service providers. It is an information notice and does not replace any separate consent required for a particular processing activity.
Advertising measurement is optional and controlled through iOS tracking permission. Refusing or withdrawing this permission does not change your subscription entitlement or access to the features included in your plan.
Some records are stored locally. Device loss, deletion, reset or migration may affect their availability. Keep copies of anything important to you. Avoid sharing access credentials or using another person’s payment account without authorization.
6. Availability, suspension and changes
We may update the app, fix faults or temporarily interrupt service for maintenance or security. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address material breaches, unlawful use or threats to the service, giving notice and an opportunity to address the issue where appropriate. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected, including remedies for failure to supply a paid service.
We will give notice of material changes to these Terms and obtain agreement where legally required. Changes will not retroactively remove accrued rights. If a change affects an ongoing paid subscription, applicable notice, cancellation and consumer protections apply.
7. Responsibility and consumer protections
To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that AI outputs are error-free or suitable for every circumstance, or that service will be uninterrupted. You remain responsible for reasonable review of suggestions and safe preparation of food.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Mandatory warranties, statutory remedies and consumer protections remain available. Any permitted limitation is subject to the circumstances and applicable law; these Terms do not impose a blanket waiver of claims.
8. Apple’s software license
For the iOS app, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) applies to the software license where applicable. These Terms address Mealvia’s service and subscriptions and do not replace that license. Apple is not responsible for operating Mealvia’s AI cooking service; questions about Mealvia should be directed to us.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, subject to mandatory protections available under the law of your habitual residence. Nothing prevents you from bringing a claim in a court or consumer authority available to you under applicable law. Contact us first if you wish to seek an informal resolution; doing so is not a condition that removes statutory remedies.
