10. Location Information

Location Information & Background Tracking (For Delivery Partners)

Our application requests access to your device's location to provide core location-based services:

For Customers: To find nearby restaurants, automatically detect delivery addresses, and show estimated delivery times.

For Delivery Partners (Background Access): For users logged in as delivery providers, MealHi5 collects precise live location data to enable efficient order assignment, real-time route optimization for store admins, and accurate order tracking for customers. This location data is collected in the background even when the app is closed, minimized, or not actively in use, provided the driver's duty status is set to 'Online'.

Location access is requested only with your explicit permission. Drivers can stop background tracking instantly at any time by toggling their duty status to 'Offline' inside the app's account page or by logging out. Your location information is strictly used for logistics management and order safety, and is never sold or shared with third-party advertisers.
