What can I expect in my weekly veg box:
Small (6-7 varieties)
Medium (7-8 varieties)
Large (8-9 varieties)
We select what is going in the veg boxes each week and will try to provide you with as much variety as possible. At the beginning of the season during the 'hungry gap' we may be limited to the amount of variety we can provide and some items may be bought in from an organic wholesaler. you can count on the staples, tatties, carrots and onions, most weeks as well as leafy greens and mixed salads. As the season progresses crops will be bountiful and you can expect a lush variety of tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, peas, beans, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, fennel, beetroot, radish, turnip, leeks, spring onion and some unusual vegetables such as sessantina and Chinese cabbage.
Where are we?
The farm is on the Falkland estate about a 1km up the track past organic farm shop and café
Pillars of Hercules.
