Now, I am a Senior Lecturer of English at the Department of English Language and Literature, Port City International University, Chittagong, where I have been working since January, 2016. I am also an Asst. Proctor of the university since 2016. I completed my Honours and Masters Degree at the Department of English Language and Literature from Jagannath University, Dhaka. I worked as the Chairman of English Department at Trust University College, Dhaka and Nasirkote Shaheed Smrity Degree College, Chandpur. In addition, I received intensive training on Higher Education Teaching at Nottingham University, Malaysia Campus, and special training on Teaching Learning Methodology at Asian University for Women, Chittagong. Besides, I attended many national and international conferences both home and abroad, and presented papers. I mostly teach Language and Literature courses, and also supervises thesis students both at the undergraduate and graduate level of study. Typically I teach courses like Introduction to Linguistics, Composition, Public Speaking, Advanced Reading Strategies and Writing, Technical English, Business Communicative English, Elizabethan and 17th Century Poetry, 17th Century Prose and Drama, Victorian Literature and Modern Literature.
