MDR ("MDR", "we", "us", or "our") is an independent merchant utility designed to help merchants calculate illustrative MDR amounts, estimate settlement amounts, prepare UPI QR payment information, split collection amounts, and maintain a local record of collection sessions.
MDR is primarily a calculation, collection-planning, and QR-preparation utility. It does not operate as a bank, payment gateway, UPI payment service provider, or payment processor.
We respect your privacy and aim to collect and use only the information necessary to provide the functionality of the application.
MDR may ask you to provide certain information during merchant setup.
This may include:
Business name
Merchant type
Business sector
Expected monthly UPI collection
UPI ID
This information is used to personalize the application, calculate illustrative MDR estimates, prepare collection amounts, and generate QR information based on the details entered by you.
When you use MDR's collection features, the application may locally store information such as:
Payment or collection amount
Selected collection method
Split payment amounts
Custom collection amount
Estimated MDR
Estimated settlement amount
Payment session date and time
Manually marked payment status
This information is used to provide collection history and related functionality within the application.
MDR V1 stores merchant and collection information locally on your device.
MDR does not currently operate a cloud account or remote database for your merchant profile or collection history.
Your merchant profile and collection history are intended to remain on your device unless you choose to remove the application data, clear the application's storage, or uninstall the application.
MDR V1 does not maintain a remote copy of this merchant or collection information on our servers.
MDR does not require you to create an online account to use its core V1 functionality.
MDR is primarily an illustrative MDR calculator and merchant collection utility.
The application provides features such as:
MDR calculation
Illustrative settlement calculation
Full Amount collection preparation
Split Payment collection preparation
Custom Amount collection preparation
QR information generation
QR sharing
Local collection history
Manual collection status recording
These features are provided for convenience, calculation, collection planning, and QR preparation.
MDR does not itself process or complete a payment.
MDR does not connect to a bank or payment provider to confirm whether money has actually been received.
MDR allows you to enter a UPI ID and uses the information provided by you to construct a UPI payment QR payload.
MDR does not verify your UPI ID with NPCI, your bank, or a UPI payment provider in V1.
The UPI ID and other payment details used to generate a QR are provided by the merchant. MDR does not independently verify whether those details belong to the intended merchant or payment recipient.
Features such as Full Amount, Split Payment, and Custom Amount are provided to make collection preparation more convenient.
If the UPI ID and payment details entered by the merchant are correct, and the generated QR is supported by the UPI application used to scan it, the QR may be usable for a payment.
However, MDR does not guarantee that a QR will result in a successful payment.
The actual payment, if initiated through a compatible external UPI application, is handled by the relevant UPI/payment ecosystem and is outside MDR's control.
Before using or sharing a QR for a real payment, merchants should independently verify:
UPI ID
Payment amount
Recipient details
Other relevant payment information
A QR generated by MDR does not mean that a payment has been initiated, authorized, completed, received, or confirmed.
MDR does not connect directly to your bank account, merchant account, or UPI payment account in V1.
MDR does not receive:
Bank transaction information
Bank account transaction status
UPI payment confirmation
Payment settlement confirmation
Real-time transaction information
MDR does not track or independently verify whether a QR payment has actually been completed.
When you select "Mark as Received", the status is simply a manual record created by you inside the MDR application.
It does not represent:
Bank confirmation
UPI confirmation
NPCI confirmation
Payment-provider confirmation
Actual transaction verification
The status is stored locally to help you maintain your own collection record.
MDR's role ends with calculation, collection preparation, QR preparation, and local record-keeping.
Any actual payment made through another UPI application is handled by that external payment ecosystem.
MDR provides illustrative MDR and settlement calculations based on the information entered into the application and the calculation rules configured in the application.
MDR calculations are intended for informational, demonstration, estimation, and collection-planning purposes.
The calculations shown in MDR should not be considered:
An official NPCI calculation
A bank calculation
A payment-provider calculation
A bank settlement statement
A guaranteed settlement amount
Financial advice
Legal advice
Tax advice
Regulatory advice
Actual charges, MDR rates, taxes, settlement amounts, eligibility, payment terms, and other applicable conditions may vary depending on the relevant payment arrangement, merchant category, provider, transaction, and applicable rules or regulations.
MDR does not determine or guarantee the actual charges that may be applied by a bank, UPI provider, payment service provider, or other payment arrangement.
MDR V1 does not sell your personal information.
MDR does not upload your merchant profile or collection history to our servers.
MDR does not share your merchant profile or collection history with advertisers or data brokers.
MDR may allow you to intentionally share a QR image or other information using your device's system sharing functionality.
For example, when you choose "Share QR", the QR information or image may be passed to another application selected by you.
This sharing action is initiated by you.
Once information is shared with another application, that application's own privacy practices and policies apply.
MDR does not control how a receiving third-party application handles information that you choose to share with it.
MDR provides an optional Request Real UPI Integration feature.
If you choose to use this feature, MDR may open your device's email application with a pre-filled email addressed to:
yashyakki555@gmail.com
The email is sent only when you choose to send it through your email application.
MDR does not automatically send an email without your action.
The email application and email service you use may process your email address, message, and other email information according to its own privacy policy.
MDR is designed to minimize the permissions required to provide its core functionality.
MDR does not require access to:
Contacts
Location
SMS
Call logs
Microphone
Camera
Bluetooth
Health data
MDR does not require access to your Photos or Media library for its core merchant setup and calculation functionality.
Where Android provides a system-controlled interface for activities such as sharing or saving content, the relevant Android system component or selected application may handle the content you choose to share or save.
MDR V1 does not intentionally collect personal information for advertising purposes.
The current V1 does not use:
Advertising SDKs
Third-party analytics SDKs
Behavioral tracking
Cross-app tracking
Personalized advertising
Advertising profiles
MDR does not use advertising services to display advertisements within the current V1 application.
If these practices change in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
Because merchant information and collection history are stored locally on your device, you should protect your device using the security and access-control features provided by your operating system, such as a screen lock or device authentication.
MDR aims to minimize data collection and avoid unnecessary transmission of merchant information.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and for protecting access to locally stored application data.
MDR V1 does not maintain a remote account containing your merchant data.
Merchant profile information and collection history stored by MDR remain locally on your device until they are removed.
You can remove locally stored MDR information using the application's available Delete Local Data functionality, where provided.
Using the application's local data deletion feature may remove MDR-specific information such as:
Merchant profile
Collection history
Locally stored payment/session information
Other MDR-specific locally stored data
You may also remove application data by clearing the application's storage or uninstalling the application through your device settings.
Delete Local Data is a local data deletion feature and is not an account deletion process, because MDR V1 does not require or maintain an online user account.
If you contact us regarding deletion or privacy questions, we may need sufficient information to understand and respond to your request.
MDR is intended for merchants and general users.
MDR is not specifically designed for children.
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, you may contact us using the contact information provided below.
MDR may use operating-system functionality and software libraries necessary to provide features such as:
QR generation
Local data storage
Sharing
File or content handling
MDR does not currently use a remote backend to store your merchant profile or collection history.
MDR may interact with other applications when you voluntarily choose to use features such as sharing a QR or sending an email.
Any third-party application that you voluntarily use to share information, save content, or send an email may process that information according to its own privacy policy.
MDR does not control the privacy practices of those external applications.
We may update this Privacy Policy when MDR's functionality, data practices, services, or applicable requirements change.
When changes are made, the Last Updated date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be updated.
We encourage users to periodically review this page to understand how MDR handles information.
You can choose:
Whether to provide merchant information
Whether to provide a UPI ID
Whether to use the QR generation features
Whether to use Full Amount, Split Payment, or Custom Amount features
Whether to share a generated QR
Whether to send a Real UPI Integration request
Whether to maintain or remove locally stored MDR data
MDR does not require you to create an account to use its V1 core functionality.
You can also remove locally stored MDR information using the available Delete Local Data functionality in the application.
If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or MDR's handling of information, you can contact:

MDR is an independent illustrative merchant utility.
MDR is not:
An NPCI-operated application
A bank application
A UPI payment service provider
A payment gateway
A payment processor
A financial institution
MDR V1 does not provide real-time UPI transaction verification or bank settlement confirmation.
MDR generates QR information using the UPI ID and payment details entered by the merchant.
MDR does not verify whether the entered UPI ID belongs to the merchant or intended recipient.
The merchant is responsible for checking the correctness of the UPI ID, payment amount, and other payment details before using or sharing a generated QR for a real payment.
A generated QR is a QR preview/preparation generated from user-provided information. It should not be interpreted as proof that a payment will succeed or has been received.
If the merchant-entered information is correct and the QR is supported by the relevant UPI application, the QR may be usable for initiating a payment through that external UPI ecosystem. However, MDR itself does not process, authorize, verify, receive, settle, or confirm that payment.
Any actual payment transaction and its confirmation are handled outside MDR by the relevant UPI/payment ecosystem.
For clarity, the current V1 can be summarized as follows:
MDR calculates.
It provides illustrative MDR and settlement estimates.
MDR helps prepare collections.
It provides Full Amount, Split Payment, and Custom Amount functionality for convenience.
MDR prepares QR information.
The QR is generated from the UPI ID and payment details entered by the merchant.
MDR does not verify.
MDR does not verify the UPI ID with NPCI, a bank, or a UPI provider.
MDR does not process payments.
MDR does not connect to or operate a payment-processing or banking system.
MDR does not confirm payments.
"Mark as Received" is only a manual local record.
MDR stores V1 data locally.
Merchant details and collection history are stored on the user's device rather than a MDR cloud account.
The merchant remains responsible for verification.
Before using a QR for a real payment, the merchant should independently verify the UPI ID, amount, and other payment details.
