"My Dream Home" is a Phnom Penh-based building materials company established in 2015. Our commitment lies in providing affordable and ecological building materials to the Cambodian market. We specialize in manufacturing and selling two exceptional materials: Environmental Bricks and Breeze Blocks.
Our aim is to foster a society where every customer can transform their dream building into a reality using sustainable materials.
Our History
Founder of My Dream Home, Kongngy Hav hails from a rural background in Cambodia, where his family struggled financially.
He pursued a degree in sociology and gained experience working for both local and international NGOs. However, Kongngy's true passion was to provide affordable housing for middle and low-income individuals.
In pursuit of this dream, Kongngy made the bold decision to leave his job in Australia and return to Cambodia. In 2013, he founded My Dream Home, a venture that aimed to construct buildings using Lego-like bricks. These buildings were not only constructed at twice the speed of conventional methods but were also 20-40% more cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
Today, My Dream Home employs more than 30 individuals and continues to provide affordable housing options for low-and middle income communities, emphasizing social impact over profit. Kongngy's endeavors have garnered support from organizations such as UNDP Cambodia, Oxfam, ILO and more with expectations of further global backing in the future.
