Maureen O’Shea, Cecil County Agribusiness Coordinator, Office of Economic Development - Maureen work includes educating the public about Cecil County's farming industry and helping local growers with marketing skills and strategies to diversify their business.
Charlie Sasscer, Ag Marketing Extension Educator in Prince George's County. Charlie grew up in Southern Maryland and has worked for extension since 2021.
Bianca Soto-Gomez, The Bay Mushrooms Farm, Federalsburg, MD - Bianca and her husband have been involved in agriculture since 1996, and currently grow mushrooms and vegetables on their farm, selling at farmers markets. Bianca also works as a NRCS RCPP District Conservationist in Maryland.
Gale Livingstone, Deep Roots Farm, Upper Marlboro, MD - Gale and her team own and operate Deep Roots Farm is a regenerative, women owned and operated farm located in Brandywine and Upper Marlboro, MD, growing vegetables, herbs, fruit, and flowers, and chickens on 53 acres.
Sarah Rider, Flying Plow Farm, is a farmer located in Cecil County who sells produce and runs a Community Supported Agriculture program delivering shares from northeastern Maryland down to Annapolis, Maryland. Sarah has been a SNAP retailer for the past year and has accepted FMNP payments since 2011, while participating in MMM and county level match programs.
Alison Worman, Farm Alliance of Baltimore (FAB) Program Manager. Alison works closely with all the members of FAB and will be able to provide feedback from the organization members, including Black Butterfly Teaching Farm, Whitelock Community Farm, Real Food Farm, Plantation Park Heights, Strength 2 Love Farm, Black Yield Institute, and the Greener Garden.
