Bangalore & Venue (New)

Bangalore (alias Bengaluru) currently is quite dry (expected). So, consider bringing your personal moisturizers. When one goes outside the JNC campus, it is not a bad idea to wear a mask particularly to protect oneself from road dust.

The weather is mild (20-30 degree Celsius) and sunny. So, loose fitting Cotton clothes are ideal.

The JNCASR campus has well maintained gardens, large trees and a 0.5km perimeter walk path. Explore it! In particular, at 6pm, one can watch flocks of birds coming in from the Northern regions of Bangalore returning to their  resting places for the night.

Conference Venue

The conference will be held in a modern auditorium with a seating capacity of 450. It has a LED screen (16:9 aspect ratio).

More details on the Auditorium and facilities can be found here

The anteroom attached to the Auditorium will house the Registration Desk, an Espresso Sale Point (#FingersCrossed), Sponsors' Stall etc.

The Poster Presentations will be held in three locations:

Catering of Food

This will be held in a location below Hostel Block V, next to the Auditorium.

Both Veg and Non-Veg options will be available (mostly Indian, but a few Continental dishes as well).

Breakfast (7.30a.m.-9.00a.m.), Lunch (as per Technical Program), Fore/Afternoon Tea Breaks and Dinner will be served here.

Medical Assistance

The campus has a small Health Centre called "Dhanvantari". Physicians are available for consultation for participants to MD@60 under a special arrangement, without any fee. Approach the Registration Desk if you need assistance. In case of Emergency, JNCASR's ambulance is also available to take one to the nearest Hospital (Manipal Hospital near Esteem Mall on Bellary Road).

There is a Udupi (Vegetarian) restaurant close to JNCASR, a favourite haunt among many here.
