Brief Biography
Md. Yasin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering (CE), Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST). He received his MSc from the Environmental Engineering Department of the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. Prior to this, he obtained his BSc degree from the Department of Civil Engineering, AUST. Soon after his graduation he joined the Department of Civil Engineering, Sonargaon University as a Lecturer. He joined AUST Civil Engineering Department as a Lecturer (grade-1) on November 2022 and since then he has been serving here as a Faculty member.
Yasin's research interests lie in the areas of
Biological Power to Methane Technology
Energy-Efficient Wastewater Treatment
Water-Food-Energy Nexus
Wetland systems
Industrial Wastewater Treatment and
Microplastic.
Md.Yasin is actively involved in numerous voluntary activities relevant to his field of education and research. He is a Co-opt. Member (Co-curricular) of AUST Civil Engineering Society (ACES).
