Fun fact to start us off, I've attended ten schools throughout my life. Four elementaries, two middle schools, one high school, community college until I arrived at Sonoma State. My academic journey has not been easy but I've always loved learning both in and outside the classroom. I've always seen a good school and teacher as a gateway to worldly knowledge as well as personal and academic growth. I've been blessed to attend university and thrive in many classes that have left an impact and have left me hungry for more. As a Hutchins student I'm glad to have an opportunity to focus on the more humane side of education, of asking questions and defying society as we were fed, especially as a Mexican American Woman. Below are some of my favorite classes and assignments done for them as well as work I've done for other courses. I've also created a collection of texts and other media that I explored and loved.
