As an astrophysicist, I am actively involved in collaborative research projects with scientists across Australia, the USA, Spain, and Italy. I am keen to expand my collaborations and expertise across diverse areas of astrophysics, including (but not limited to) brown dwarfs, exoplanets, stellar astrophysics, and radio astronomy.

Education

October 2024-Present.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in exoplanets.

The University of Sydney, Australia.

I am pursuing my PhD in Astrophysics pecisely in Brown dwarfs.

August 2019 - July 2024.

5 years Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) Dual Degree Program

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata, India.

I have completed my BS and MS dual degree with major in Physical sciences and minor in Earth Sciences. I also did my MS thesis in eclipsing binary stars and third body from IEEC, ICE-CSIC, Barcelona.

I have completed my Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary School Certificate exam from Science background.

Work experience

October 2023- May 2024

Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC), Barcelona, Spain.

Institute of Space Sciences (ICE)-CSIC, Barcelona, Spain.

I worked as a junior researcher here to complete my MS thesis on developing high-precision minima timings of eclipsing binaries, investigating stellar activity and the existence of a third body around the CM Draconis system.

Washington University in St. Louis, USA.

I worked as a research intern here remotely to work on exoplanet detection and TESS Object of Interest modelling (TOI) in collaboration with Dr. Tansu Daylan.

July 2022

Institute of Astrophysics and Space Sciences (IA), Portugal.

I worked as a research intern here to work on exoplanet compositions, as a part of IASTRO summer internship program 2022.

May 2021- August 2021

The University of Western Australia (UWA).

I worked as a research intern here to work on classifying the distribution of false alarm rates of gravitational waves via machine learning algorithm as a part of 2021 JULY SUMMER DOWN UNDER RESEARCH INTERNSHIP PROGRAM of UWA .
