Hi, I am Md Mamun, a Postdoctoral Fellow from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, USA

I’m an aquatic scientist studying how natural processes, human activities, and climate change impact lakes, reservoirs, rivers, streams, and wetlands. My research explores how their physical, chemical, and biological properties change over space and time. To do this, I work with large open-source datasets—such as satellite imagery, In-situ high frequency hyperspectral data, long-term ecological records, and fish community data—using empirical, machine learning and deep learning models to uncover patterns and generate predictive insights
