May 2025: Attended and presented a paper at the IEEE EIT 2025 Conference at Valparaiso University, Indiana, USA. Also served as the session chair for the 'Software' session at the conference.
April 2025: Tenured and Promoted to Associate Professor at Eastern Illinois University. I'm very happy to have achieved this significant milestone.
April 2025: Paper accepted at IEEE International Conference On Electro/Information Technology (EIT) 2025. The paper title is "Reinforcement Learning and Convolutional Neural Networks for Generalized and Adaptive Multi-Objective Mapping of DNN Workloads in Networks-on-Chip " .

December 2024: Presented the research paper titled "Nature-inspired Dragonfly Algorithm for High-Performance and Energy-Efficient Mapping of Deep Neural Networks in Networks-on-Chip" at 17th IEEE International Symposium on Embedded Multicore/Many-core Systems-on-Chip (MCSoC 2024), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
December 2024: Served as Session Co-Chair of "Multicore/Manycore Interconnection Networks" , 17th IEEE International Symposium on Embedded Multicore/Many-core Systems-on-Chip (MCSoC 2024), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
November 2024: Served as the General Co-Chair for NoCArc 2024, co-located with the 57th IEEE/ACM MICRO, which was successfully completed in Austin, Texas.
November 2024: Served as Session Chair for the Keynote session "Rethinking Network Fabric Architectures for Distributed AI/ML Platforms" at NoCArc 2024. Also served as Session Chair for the research paper sessions: Session 1: Interconnects for Emerging Domains and Session 3: Recent Advances in NoC.
October 2024: Paper with Dominik Cloud (Student) accepted at 17th IEEE International Symposium on Embedded Multicore/Many-core Systems-on-Chip (MCSoC 2024). April 2024: Presented my the invited paper at the 2024 International VLSI Symposium on Technology, Systems and Applications (VLSI TSA), Hinschu, Taiwan, April 2024. The paper title is "Application-Architecture Mapping for Energy-Efficiency and High-Performance in Network-on-Chip-based Manycore Architectures."
April 2024: Presented my research work at the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Hinschu, Taiwan, April 2024.
March 2024: Awarded with Eastern Illinois University Summer 2024 Council on Faculty Research (CFR) Grant for the Proposal entitled: “Neuron Mapping and Resource Allocation for Accelerating Deep Learning Applications on Manycore Systems ”, March. 2024, Eastern Illinois University.

January 2023: Serving in the Technical Program Committee Member of IEEE SouthEastCon, Atlanta, GA, USA 2024.
November 2023: Awarded with Achievement and Contribution Award (ACA) in Balanced category (Teaching+Research+Service) in recognition of outstanding contribution to the University during the 2022-2023 academic year, Eastern Illinois University.
October 2023: Chaired two research paper sessions at NoCArc 2023. The title of the sessions were "Session 2: Interconnects for High-Performance and Quantum Computing" and "Session 3: Routing Algorithms for Emerging Architectures".
October 2023: Chaired the keynote session titled "Photonic Systems-on-Chip for Deep Learning" at NoCArc 2023. Dr. Mahdi Nikdast from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Colorado State University was the keynote speaker.
October 2023: Attended NoCArc 2023, colocated with MICRO 2023, in Toronto/Canada. I served as the TPC Co-Chair of NoCArc 2023.
September 2023: Awarded with Eastern Illinois University Fall 2023 Council on Faculty Research (CFR) Grant for the Proposal entitled: “Intelligent Task-Resource Co-Allocation for Energy-Efficiency and High-Performance in High-Performance Computing Systems”, Sep. 2023, Eastern Illinois University.
July 2023: Attended and presented our paper virtually at IEEE International Conference on Omni-layer Intelligent Systems (COINS) 2023, Berlin, Germany. The paper title is "Heuristics-Enabled High-Performance Application Mapping in Network-on-Chip based Multicore Systems". Also, served as a Session Co-Chair for the "Circuit and Systems Track" at IEEE COINS 2023.
