The increasing number of vehicles has given rise to troubles at the major intersections at Faridpur, such as collisions, road accidents, and bottlenecks. One way to solve such problems is by effectively controlling traffic signals at the intersection. The traffic signal is direct control of traffic maneuvers, which reduces accidents and empowers the road safety manipulators to use the area of the road efficiently.

Road accidents, which are frequent occurrences in Faridpur, have a significant negative impact on daily life. Road safety has suddenly got worse as a result of some traffic accident fatalities and injuries. The purpose of this study was to pinpoint the driving habits of heavy vehicle drivers. To get reliable data, rigorous questionnaire research on behavior and arrogance in the context of several demographic, psychological, and social aspects was conducted. The more accurate results of this study might be used to evaluate the viability of taking practical steps to enhance driver behavior and, as a consequence, reduce traffic accidents.

Faridpur, a city in southern Bangladesh, is experiencing extremely serious traffic accident problems. The primary goal of this study project is to understand the Faridpur traffic accident situation, harmful impacts, and trends. Furthermore, in order for decision-makers to take the proper precautions, we are interested in predicting the severity of future traffic incidents. In this study, we sought to identify the primary causes of traffic collisions and assess the alarming condition. To build a methodological framework for traffic accidents in the Fardipur district, significant research was conducted, and an attempt has been made to convey some of the findings in this paper. This study project provides a summary of the accident rates, involved cars, collision types, times of the incidents, and ages of the victims of the accidents on the highways, regional roads, and city roads of Faridpur city. Secondary accident data were gathered in Faridpur from police stations, ARI Buet, RHD, and LGED. This research illustrates the numerous facets of traffic accidents in Bangladesh's Faridpur area.
