Q. I don't know much about law, can I still join Mock Trial?
A. Yes! Mock Trial is beginner friendly and was initially made to familiarize students with court procedures not exactly law on its self. We will also have lessons at the beginning of the year.
Q. What positions are there in Mock Trial?
A. There are attorneys, witnesses, baliffs, and paralegals. An attorney is the main spokesperson and in charge of asking witnesses questions and speaking to the judge. Paralegals and baliffs help out attorneys, with material writing and time keeping respectively, but don't speak in the main trial. A witness speaks on the stand and gives testimony.
