What level should participants compete in?

Here are the grades per level:

Level 1 - Grades KG, 1 & 2

Level 2 - Grades 3 & 4

Level 3A - Grades 5 & 6

Level 3B - Grades 7 & 8

Level 4 - Highschool

Level 5 - College


How does the competition work?

Step 1: Register for the competition

Step 2: Get the study material

Step 3: Check the competition format & attend the coaching sessions

Step 4: Take the test online on Saturday, February 15th

Step 5: Win awesome prizes!


Can I choose which level to compete in?

Your grade in school determines which level you can enter. If you would like to enter a higher level, you can do this; however, you cannot enter a lower level.


Where can I register?

I did not receive an email confirming my participant’s registration, did my registration complete?

When you complete registration online and pay, your participant is registered. You should receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite. If you are unsure whether your payment went through, you can email mcws.seerah@gmail.com and ask one of the team members to check that for you. 


Is there a registration fee?

Yes, the registration fee is $13 per participant payable online with registration. 

Limited financial aid is available. If you qualify, please register online by selecting "pay at the door" and then email mcws.seerah@gmail.com so they can complete your registration.


What do I have to study?

Each Level is assigned Study Material. Please go to the Study Material page.


What kind of questions will be on the test?

Please see the Competition Format page for more information.

 

Will there be prizes?

Yes, everyone who scores 90% and above will receive prizes in sha Allah.


When will the results be announced?

In shaa Allah the results of the competition will be announced in an in-person prize ceremony on Saturday, February 15th between Dhuhr (1pm) and Isha (8pm) at MCWS (40440 Palmer Rd, Canton, MI). 

For our out-of-state participants or anyone unable to attend the in-person prize ceremony, in shaa Allah the results will be posted on Wednesday, February 19th on this website.


I cannot pay the registration fee or buy books, can I still participate?

Yes you may participate in sha Allah. Just email us at mcws.seerah@gmail.com if you need financial aid.
