End of Year Celebration - Thursday, June 24th
We require our parents/family members to volunteer 2 tasks per child during the season. Please click the link below to sign up to be a swim meet volunteeer.
Volunteer Commitment and Positions
The Mills Creek Swim Team Board works hard to make the season run smoothly with many behind the scene tasks. However, during the swim meets we need our Makos families to join in to ensure a successful swim meet for our kids. We require our parents/family members to volunteer 2 tasks per child during the season. Without your participation the swim meets would not be able to run.
There are many different opportunities to volunteer during our swim meets such as timers, runners, concession stand, or set up for home meets. Don’t worry if it’s something new to you; we will give instruction and help along the way. As veteran parents we know how intimidating it can be and we are here for guidance, just like others guided us!!!
Once you are signed up for a day and task, the sign up genius will send you a reminder email. It is your job to then sign in with the Volunteer Coordinator at the beginning of the meet. This will ensure you get credit for your volunteering. Just signing on the website does not give you credit. At times we may need to change your volunteer jobs due to no shows but we hope this happens less often as parents show up and sign in.
Here is a list of volunteer job opportunities for swim meets and a brief description. All these positions are needed for Home meets. Timers, Clerk of Course and Ribbons are needed for Away meets.
