Since May 2025, members of the MCSR Census Team have been tracking viewership statistics for MCSR Ranked Playoffs. In Season 7 and Season 8, viewership was only tracked for the final day of the event, with volunteers monitoring and inputting viewer counts manually.
In January 2026, in light of record viewership numbers being seen for Season 9's Last Chance Qualifiers (16,665 peak concurrent viewers), members of the MCU developed a automated tracking script for all Playoffs participants and co-streamers, enabling high-precision viewership tracking, alleviating manual workload and allowing live viewer data to be publicly displayed on this site.
