Welcome to my website

I am research economist with over 20 years of experience working on environmental issues. I am currently the Vice Director of Sweden's Sustainable Finance Lab, an Affiliated Faculty in Sustainable Finance at the Department of Industrial Economics and Management at KTH The Royal Technical Institute of Technology in Stockholm. I am also a senior research economist at IVL the Swedish Environmental Research Institute.

My research interests lie in environmental economics and sustainable finance. My current research projects include e.g.:

• International investment rules and the protection of nature;

• Environmental Social Governance (ESG) ratings and investing;

• Consumer credit markets; and

• Economic impacts of extreme weather

I am driven to understand how our world works and what we can do to make it a better place. In my research, I develop theory to study the interplay between the environment, policy, and companies. Methodologically, apply microeconomic methods to test competing hypotheses.  I am particularly interested in applying my expertise to support our transition to a more sustainable path.
