Do you feel called to ministry with the IPHC? Maybe you are not called to serve in vocational ministry but you DO want to learn more about Christian ministry through a discipleship program aimed at developing stronger leaders and Christians? This is the place for you!
The Ministerial Credentialing Program (MCP) is an online platform designed to educate students at their own pace in the comfort of their own environment. These courses are for you if you are desiring Christian Education Units, want to know more about ministry, or want to get started on the pathway of obtaining a Local Minister's License, a Minister's License, or Ordination through the South Carolina Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church.

What does it cost?
Each year of courses has at least 10 courses for a total of 30 by the end of year 3. The per-course cost is $50 and does not include the cost of your books, purchased seperately from the link below. You can pay all at once in the beginning of the semester or after each course finishes. Please note, you cannot be awarded grades until you have satisfied the coursework and fee's associated.

Ok, I have finished my courses for one of the levels of license, now what???
To be licensed in any capacity by the SCIPHC, individuals must complete the above course work and complete the application for each ministerial credential desired. Once the application is reviewed, the candidate will be scheduled for an interview with the credentialing committee in the Spring or Fall meetings to determine awarding of licensure. All candidates who successfully complete the coursework, and are granted approval by the credentialing committee, will still need to be approved by the conference body in the annual conference session in May of each year.
Once you are nearing completion of your classes for a credential desired (110, 210, or 311) please email mcp.sciphc@gmail.com to receive the printable application and get set up an interview time with the committee. There are at least two days per year (Spring and Fall) and these dates are distributed by November 1 for the following year on the Conference calendar at SCIPHC.ORG.
The emailed form MUST be PRINTED, then completed in it's entirety and submitted along with the necessary supporting documents (recommendations, tithe report, etc), and sent along with your background check fee of $100. Please note, a background check is NOT necessary if you have completed one within the last five years for SCIPHC. Even if you complete one for secular employment, we are mandated to still have one on file that has been completed for SCIPHC liabilty protection purposes.
