I’m running because I believe local government should be about people, not politics.
Wasatch County is growing and changing quickly. That brings enormous opportunities—but it also brings real challenges. How we manage that growth will shape the community we leave to our children and grandchildren.
I’m running for County Council because I believe we need leadership that listens, tells the truth, asks hard questions, and makes decisions based on what is best for the entire community.
My professional life has taught me how to work with people who don't always agree, solve complicated problems, manage limited resources, and make decisions when there isn't an easy answer. As an actor, director, and producer, I’ve spent decades working with large teams, tight budgets, competing priorities, and very different personalities.
But the most important things I've learned haven't come from a job title.
They've come from life.
I believe trust is earned. It comes from being honest, showing up, keeping your word, and being willing to admit when you're wrong. I believe good government should work the same way.
As your County Councilman, I will focus on five things:
Responsible Growth
Plan for growth instead of simply reacting to it. Protect what makes Wasatch County special while preparing for the people and businesses who are coming here.
Fiscal Responsibility
Treat taxpayer money like it matters—because it does. Make careful, transparent decisions about spending and priorities.
Infrastructure & Transportation
Make sure roads, water, public services, and other infrastructure keep pace with growth rather than leaving tomorrow's problems for the next generation.
Open & Accountable Government
Listen to residents, communicate clearly, and make government easier to understand. People shouldn't have to be insiders to know what's happening in their own county.
Community & Quality of Life
Growth shouldn't mean losing the character, access to nature, sense of community, and quality of life that make Wasatch County worth living in.
I don't believe I have all the answers.
I do believe in asking better questions, listening carefully, looking at the facts, and treating people with respect—even when we disagree.
This isn't about building a political career. It's about helping build the community we want to live in.
I'm asking for your vote because I believe Wasatch County deserves a representative who will show up, listen, work hard, and put the interests of the community ahead of politics.
I'm ready to do the work.
