My name is Collin McNaught, and I am proudly Tewksbury born and raised. I attended the North Street, Ryan, Wynn, and Tewksbury Memorial High School from 2005-2018. I graduated TMHS having served a term as class president and as a member of the DECA and Mock Trial teams. I even played a year of football along the way and became a coach's assistant.
The education and preparation for success I received from Tewksbury Public Schools earned me a degree in Politics and History from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H and my eventual post-graduate career path towards being a full-time social studies teacher through Bridgewater State University. In the last couple of years, I have worked in a variety of nearby school districts as a long-term substitute teacher, and have undergone my student teacher practicum here in Tewksbury.
In 2021, I was nominated by the Select Board to serve on the Tewksbury Cultural Council, where I have participated in every meeting for the last three years and will continue to serve a second three-year term from 2024-2026.
Above all, I am passionate about this town and its future. It is the only place I've ever called home, and in my experience in other school systems, Tewksbury is still, by far, the most proud community I have ever met or been a part of. I also believe it's crucial that the School Committee continues to have representation by someone with a career in education, and I hope to provide that should I be fortunate enough to receive your vote.
