Sebastian Fischer

Sebastian has developed several R packages and is leveraging high-performance computing (HPC) systems to conduct extensive benchmark experiments in machine learning. Additionally, he contributes to the OpenML project.

Balthasar Schachtner

Python Instructor / Material

Balthasar has worked with HPC systems, such as the world-wide LHC computing grid, and is scientific and technical person of contact for the HPC cluster CORE at the LMU university hospital. In this role, he offers HPC seminars to the scientists of the medical faculty.

Emanuel Sommer

Emanuel has hands-on experience developing and deploying Statistical and ML models at scale. He developed his Python skills through various projects in both industry and academia, including scalable model deployment and collaborative code & package development.

Lisa Wimmer

Lisa has been working on (Bayesian) deep learning with Python throughout her PhD. Developing and contributing to several research projects has helped her acquire the skills needed for accessible and reproducible research code.
