The development of MCMH has been shaped by both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. From the creation of Miller Haven in 1958 and the formation of MCMH in 1960, to the addition of iconic Maisons such as Givanne, Bellencier, Versaille, Lovere, Cellienne, Maison D'Orien, Chauvrier, and ROLENCE, the Group has continuously expanded its portfolio while preserving the unique identity, heritage, and savoir-faire of every House.
Each Maison remains independent in its creative expression while benefiting from the collective expertise, resources, and long-term stewardship of the Group. This philosophy has enabled MCMH to cultivate an unparalleled portfolio spanning Wines & Estates, Hospitality, Fashion & Leather Goods, Fragrance & Beauty, Watches & Jewelry, Selective Retailing, Media, and Cultural Enterprises.
Beyond luxury, MCMH has long believed that excellence carries responsibility. The Group was among the earliest luxury companies to establish a dedicated environmental division and has maintained a strong commitment to sustainability, ethical craftsmanship, cultural preservation, and social impact. This commitment is reflected through initiatives such as its participation in the United Nations Global Compact and the continued development of responsible practices across all Houses.
Support for culture, education, and creativity has been a defining pillar of MCMH's identity. Through institutions such as Blanc & Noire Global, Miller des Art, Miller Fashion School, and EM Corps, the Group invests in artistic expression, talent development, entrepreneurship, and the transmission of knowledge to future generations. These institutions embody the values of innovation, craftsmanship, and excellence that unite every Maison within the Group.
Today, MCMH brings together more than 50 Houses and institutions across key sectors of the luxury industry. Operating in major markets around the world, the Group's influence extends far beyond commercial success through its contributions to culture, education, hospitality, media, and community development.
From the vineyards of Miller Château & Estate to the international stages of Blanc & Noire Global, from the ateliers of its fashion Maisons to the grand destinations of Miller Haven, MCMH continues to build upon a legacy established nearly a century ago.
More than a luxury group, MCMH is a House of Houses united by a shared purpose: Building Institutions That Outlive Generations.
Maurillo Miller and Guglielma Lorenzini’s union founded Miller Chateau & Estate. The first vintages were sold locally under the name Miller Reserve, earning recognition for their craftsmanship and consistency. What began as a family vineyard would eventually become the cornerstone of one of the world's most influential luxury groups.
Under the leadership of Maurillo's third son, Gualtier Miller, the family acquired three neighbouring vineyards and established the first official Miller Chateau & Estate. The expansion marked the family's transition from agricultural producers into custodians of regional winemaking heritage. By the end of the decade, Miller wines had become fixtures at diplomatic functions, private clubs, and aristocratic households throughout Europe.
Recognising that luxury experiences extended beyond the bottle, Gualtier Miller, transformed the family's ancestral manor into an exclusive guest retreat. The property would later evolve into the first Miller Haven. The venture introduced a philosophy that would define the Group for decades: "Luxury is not a product. It is a feeling of belonging."
The merger of Miller Chateau & Estate and Miller Haven creates MCMH, the world leader in luxury goods. The Group had 13 Maisons, 13,000 employees and sales of 5 billion euros.
