RedShelf

Instructions for use of RedShelf and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) can be found at https://solve.redshelf.com/hc/en-us.

The RedShelf link will provide access to either the eBook for your course, or an access code for a publisher's course of your instructor's choosing. The RedShelf reader will allow you to take notes, make bookmarks, highlight text, make flashcards, etc.

Most students enrolled in the online business program have the electronic textbook covered by tuition. There are some exceptions.

Students enrolled in other programs, either online programs or campus programs, do not have textbooks covered by tuition. In those cases, your student account will be charged for the book and any financial aid will be automatically applied. If you decide NOT to purchase the book via RedShelf, you must opt-out. If you opt-out prior to the opt-out date, you will not be charged for the book. To opt-out, select the "Acquiring your access code for the textbook and website" link, go to "view course materials" and select the opt-out button at the bottom of the page.

If you prefer to use a paper textbook, you must opt-out of the program through the Redshelf link. If you opt-out, you will be responsible for purchasing or renting the textbook elsewhere. You may purchase or rent a paper copy of the textbook from the McMurry Bookstore or a third party source. ISBN numbers for the book are provided by your instructor.
