MCleaner (“the App”, “we”, “our”) is designed to help you clean and optimize your device storage by analyzing photos, videos, and contacts.
We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your information safely and transparently.

2. Information We Access

MCleaner does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data to our servers.
All processing happens locally on your device.

2.1 Photos and Videos

With your permission, the App may access your photo and video library for the following purposes:

• Help you clean up unnecessary media to free storage
  
  

We do not upload, store, or share any of your media files.

2.2 Contacts

With your permission, the App may access your address book in order to:

• Identify contacts missing names or phone numbers
  
  

• Allow you to backup and restore your contacts locally
  
  

The App does not upload or share your contacts with any external services.

2.3 Notifications (Optional)

If you enable notifications, the App may send reminders or updates related to:

• Cleanup recommendations
  
  

• Feature updates
  
  

We do not collect any information about your notifications.

2.4 App Usage (Non-identifiable)

We may use anonymous, aggregated usage data strictly for improving the App experience.
This data cannot be used to identify you.

All data accessed by the App stays only on your device.
We do not operate a server to receive or store your data.

If you use the backup contact feature, the backup file is stored locally in your device’s storage or Files app, depending on how you choose to save it.

5. Third-Party Services

MCleaner does not integrate or share data with any third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud services.

6. Your Choices and Controls

You have full control over your data:

• You can disable Photos, Contacts, or Notification permissions at any time
  through Settings → Privacy
  
  

• You can delete any backups you created
  
  

• You can uninstall the App to remove all locally processed data
  
  

MCleaner continues to work only with the permissions you allow.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy to improve transparency or comply with legal updates.
