Materials Chemistry Lab

Colloidal nanocrystals are widely used and have formed an important platform for various emerging applications. The synthesis of highly uniform nanomaterials with controlled size, shape, and compositions is paramount to precisely understand the physical properties enabling to design new material properties which is not developed in nature thus far.

The researches in Materials Chemistry Lab are focused on 

1. Designing novel colloidal inorganic nanocrystals for the applications including display, electronic devices, and smart materials. 

2. Engineering the properties of multifunctional nanocrystals and integrating them into the functional nanostructures for designing high performance optical, electric, and electrochemical devices
