I have a family of four including me. I live with my twin brother Andrew and my mom and dad. Growing up, Andrew and I had to share everything with each other. As you could guess, there was a bunch of arguing growing up, but the least I could say is that he is just my brother. Andrew and I most definitely share a special bond with each other because we were all each other had when growing up. I feel that we are both comfortable with telling each other anything. I would never in the world trade our bond for something else.
I would consider myself a student in good standing, for I keep my grades high and stay dedicated to anything that I am assigned. I am also very active in our school. I compete in several sports that include volleyball, basketball, and track. There are also a bunch of different clubs in our high school that I participate in, Family Career and Community Leaders of America, Future Business leaders of America, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Kansas Association for Youth, Student Council, and National Honor Society. Ever since freshman year, I was told to get involved in as many activities as I could, so I did exactly that. Being very active in my school helps me to get out of my comfort zone.
After a lot of research, I plan to further my education and get accepted into the nursing program at Washburn University. It gives me comfort knowing that Washburn University is ranked 7th for the best nursing programs in the state of Kansas. I have also visited with numerous former graduates from the nursing program at Washburn University, who all speak highly of the program and level of education that they achieved. I plan to eventually one day become a Nurse Practitioner so that I am able to live out the dream that I have always wanted.
